Hair Care

Always inspect your strands.

When you receive your shipment remove your product from the package and inspect each piece carefully. We take great pride in our product and it is 100% guaranteed. Since natural hair is reactive to a simple wash and deep conditioning, you can keep your new hair looking its best by implementing a simple care regimen.

  • Gently rinse your strands with lukewarm water until they are saturated.
  • Apply a generous amount of Sulfate-Free Shampoo to the hair while holding the weft at the base.
  • Gently shampoo in a downward motion working shampoo from the top down.
  • Rinse thoroughly.
  • Condition your strands in same manner and then allow them to air dry.

In order to keep strands soft and aid in preventing shedding, add a light moisturizing hair serum. This can help you manipulate your waves or curls. I recommend using Paul Mitchell’s Super Skinny serum. It’s very light weight and it can be used it as liberally as you would like.Avoid applying excessive mousse, gels, oils, and hair lotion.  Doing so can weigh the strands down and cause them to be motionless. Products containing an alcohol base isn’t completely taboo, just be mindful that a shampoo will be required soon to prevent your strands from becoming dry.

Washing your strands with a quality Sulfate-Free moisturizing shampoo/conditioner at least once every week and a half to two weeks is highly suggested. Before you wash your hair, gently comb through hair with a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush starting at the ends first and working your way to the top. Doing so will prevent unwanted and unnecessary tangling during the shampooing process.Shampoos and conditioners that are completely sulfate-free are recommended. Using leave-in conditioners that are in liquid form are great for keeping the hair moisturized yet weightless. While washing, do not pile your strands on the top of your head instead wash in a downward motion. Always use cool water to rinse out your conditioner. Doing so shuts down the cuticle layer of the hair which will seal in the moisture from your conditioner. Rinse hair thoroughly to prevent product buildup. For long lasting beauty, luster, and shine, MOISTURE is the most important thing. Providing moisture is accomplished by using a moisturizing conditioner during the shampooing process and light weight liquid leave in conditioner before proceeding to style. Oil is not moisture, but it can aid to seal in moisture from conditioning. However, be mindful of the amounts you apply. Towel blot hair and let hair air dry or blow dry.

  • Separate your strands into loose large sections.
  • Braid or twist your strands and wear a satin scarf or bonnet.
  • Using the wrapping method is effective as well.
  • For bouncy waves/curls, style with flexi-rods or other heatless methods.
